GCS' closed-loop system captures every element of value from the pyrolysis process.  We have optimized our energy balance and production process to produce bio-oil and bio-energy. Using our bio-energy to produce bio-electricity and steam, we increase our efficiency and sustainability, eliminate the need for outside energy and reduce our carbon footprint.

Biomass carbon removal and Storage("BICRS") offers a unique path to CO2 removal by leveraging billions of tons of CO2 being captured via pyrolysis into valuable low carbon intensity products and carbon credits, as we do. When carbon capture of process emissions is integrated into pyrolysis operations, the business model is truly net negative. By both reducing CO2 emissions in hard-to-abate industries and sequestering carbon, GCS will remove more CO2 than it emits.
